2010 Washington County Fair

The "oldest" county fair in Texas held at the Washington County Fair Grounds in Brenham, Texas. Many club members were in attendance and brought their tractors and farm equipment for all to see. There were even hand-operated farm tools including a foot powered stone wheel grinder, a blacksmith's forge fan, a turn of the century wood washing machine, and several hand corn sheller's. The fair's tractor committee provided several bags of ear corn which the kid's make short use of in the sheller's. For the second year, there is a tractor drive Saturday morning which leaves the fair grounds and heads north for several miles before turning back and returning.
